Observation

This question was quite popular with the candidates but they failed to mention the salient points.  They rather gave common sense answers which did not agree with the text.  They had scanty answers.  This showed that the candidates did not read their bibles and their performance was generally low.  In this teaching Jesus emphasized that he has not come to abolish the old testament laws but to fulfill them.  They were expected to mention points as:

  1. They should not judge;
  2. They are not swear either by heaven or earth;
  3. Being angry with ones brother is murder;
  4. Looking at a woman lustfully is sin.
