Candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

• perform cartwheel floor activity;
• perform dive forward roll;
• execute smashing in badminton;
• stand at astride position in the game of volleyball.

The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:

• Physical education teachers should keep abreast with the new rules in sports and games;
• allotment of more time on schools’ time-table for physical education will help the students to acquire sports skills;

• provision of sports equipment and facilities in schools;
