The expected answers are as follows:

Activity 4:        Trapping in football

Process:           Candidate has to trap a dropping ball with the sole of the foot five times.

Use the scale of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1to rate the candidate’s performance on stance, body position, footwork and finish.

Process Evaluation Rating Scale

All performances should be judged according to the following rubrics.
Stance 

1. assume a comfortable position
2. body is relaxed
3. arms are slightly flexed / bent

 (iv)      head looking forward

1. legs flexed at knees      

Body position and foot work

 (i)        body is moved towards the ball
(ii)        legs raised in preparation
(iii)       leg is brought down close to the ball
(iv)       eyes on the ball / focus on the ball

1. arms lifted and slightly bent sideways
2. trap the ball as it lands
3. keep the ball stationery under the foot
4. bring the hands close to the body
