General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were straight forward and within the scope of the syllabus. The marking scheme was detailed and fair to candidates.

The performance of the candidates with a raw mean score of 22.0 and standard deviation of 9.27 was worse than WASSCE for School Candidates, 2021 which had a raw mean score of 23.0 and standard deviation of 8.43. A total of 8,711 candidates sat the paper.
