Candidate's Strength

 

The Chief Examiners reported that very few candidates displayed in-depth knowledge of the set texts and originality in their presentation of ideas.  Such candidates were able to make references to the texts in their answers.
There was also slight improvement in questions that demanded assessing and contrasting of characters. The candidates’ strengths also were revealed in their answers to questions on African poems.
