This question was fairly answered by the candidates. Some of them wrote the names of the authors of the books without writing on their works as required by the question. These candidates failed to give points such as Sihaus-Sittah  is a product of authentication of the traditions of the Prophet (S.A.W.) which serve as an introduction to the answers. Some other points include the fact that there was a need for Hadith authentication after the death of the Prophet and that as a result of special scrutiny, the most authentic six collections of Hadith were identified.
