The Chief Examiners reported the following as weaknesses of the candidates :

• Misinterpretation of questions.
• Spelling mistakes.
• Writing of irrelevancies.
• Poor transliteration

SUGGESTED REMEDIES

To address the above weaknesses of candidates, the Chief Examiners recommended a thorough reading of questions before they are answered. The choice of the appropriate style of transliteration should be adopted. Also, simple words and expressions should be employed in answering questions.
