Some of the candidates who attempted  the question could not bring out the lessons contained in the Sermon. They failed to point out that the Sermon signified the end of the Prophet’s sojourn on the earth and treated the equality of humankind before Allah, brotherhood and unity of Muslims, fair treatment of women and sanctity of people’s life and property.
