Many candidates attempted this question and performed well but some failed to analyse some of the characteristics.
           
Candidates were expected to list any of the following:

-           it is supplied in white cream liquid which can be used without further preparation;
-           it is used cold;
-           it dries by evaporation of water;
-           it is non-staining;
-           it is non-inflammable;
-           it is fairly heat resistant.
-           it is used as a gap filler;
-           it’s adhesion is strong;
-           it is non toxic;
-           it is resistant to mould and fungi;
-           it has low water resistance.
