Questions 4a, b and c which were on definition of poultry, points to consider when choosing poultry and suitable methods for cooking poultry was the candidates’ weakness. Many of the candidates were unable to answer the ‘a and b’ parts very well, they defined poultry in terms of a farm where birds are kept and listed the points to consider when siting a poultry farm instead of points to consider when choosing poultry for food. On the other hand, 4c was one of the candidates’ strengths, they were able to list suitable methods for cooking poultry.
