A reasonable number of candidates performed brilliantly especially in Sections A and B.  They gave reasonable answers to the questions and presented their points in logical sequence. They showed good mastery of the passages and adhered to the rubrics. In the (b) part of the paper some went further to apply the themes of the topic to give some solution to problems of the society.
