Question 3:     Judges 4: 1-24

(a) Highlight the role of Deborah as a judge in Israel.

(b) What three lessons can women learn from her as a leader?

This was a very popular question among the candidates and they had high scores.  They were required to state the role played by Deborah as a Judge in Israel and in the war between Israel and Canaan’s king Jabin.  The (b) part of the question was not well treated by the candidates, they were unable to mention that

1. Women can dispense justice without partiality;
2. Women can be effective and strong leaders;
3. Women can inspire and motivate people.
