(a) Describe the teaching of James on the relationship between Faith and Works.
                       
(b) In what three ways can a Christian exhibit his faith.

This question requested candidates to describe the teachings of James on the relationship between faith and works was attempted by few candidates and the performance was poor.  The main issue was left out and they were preaching the gospel.  The points they would have mentioned are that:

1. James says that faith alone cannot save one;
2. He concluded that faith without works is dead;
3. Faith, according to James is manifested by one’s work.

The (b) part of the question was their undoing as only few gave the correct answers.  The points they would have mentioned are

1. Study the word of God;
2. Through evangelism;

Living an exemplary life.
