Candidates were reported to have performed well in the following areas:

1. knowledge of specified workshop tools;
2. proper use of drawing instruments;
3. freehand sketch of specified workshop tool (countersunk head rivet pin);
4. drawing of floor plan of a given building sketch plan;
5. drawing of end elevation of a given building sketch plan;
6. drawing the detailed section of a particular plane on a given building.
