The standard of the paper was adequate. The questions were within the syllabus. An area of clothing and textiles (simple pattern drafting) which has been neglected for a long time was reflected this year in question (4) (a). This will encourage teachers to teach the topic very well. The candidates performed favourably with those of previous years.
