Question 1

 

 

(a)       Ziyarar da na kai ƙauyenmu.

(b)       Makarantar da zan so a saka ƙannena.

(c)       Yadda za a magance yawan ƙarewar dabbobin daji a ra’ayina.

(d)     Rubuta wasiƙa zuwa ga mahaifinka, ka bayyana masa dalili biyar da suka hana ka komawa garinku hutu.

(e)        Wanda bai ji bari ba, ya ji hoho.

 

Observation

 

 

(a) This is a narrative essay which required the candidate to write on his visit to his village. In doing so, he was expected to highlight some points which should include the following:

 

                         Gabatarwa:

sunan ƙauyen;
gunduma ko ƙaramar hukuma;
jihar da ƙauyen yake;
ranar da aka kai ziyara;
lokacin da aka kai ziyara.

Gundarin jawabi:

dalilin kai ziyara;
wurare da gidajen da aka ziyarta;
waɗanda aka haɗu da su;
abubuwan da aka gani na sha’awa ko akasi;
ci gaban ƙauyen;
matsalolin ƙauyen;
abubuwan da aka yi a lokacin ziyarar;
abin da aka samu;
tsaraba;
muhimmancin ziyarar.

Kammalawa:

yin taƙaitaccen bayani dangane da abin da aka tattauna.

 

Candidates’ performance in this question was not commendable.


(b) The question is on descriptive essay; it required candidates to write on the type of school he wishes his siblings get admitted into. In attempting the question, candidates were expected to describe the school and advance convincing reasons for the choice of the school. The following features and points should be reflected:


Gabatarwa:
sunan makaranta;
irin makarantar;
irin ɗaliban makarantar;
wurin da makarantar take;
dalilin da ya sa ake son makarantar.

Gundarin jawabi:

tsarin makarantar;
abinci;
kula da lafiya;
ƙwarewar malaman makarantar;
wadatar kayan aiki da na motsa jiki;
sakamakon da ake fita da shi;
shahada;
matsayin shahadarta;
kusaci da gida ko nisa;
arahar kuɗin makaranta;
tallafin da ake bayarwa.

Kammalawa:

yin taƙaitaccen bayani da jaddada dalilin son makarantar.

 

Candidates that attempted the question performed poorly.

 

(c)  The question is on expository essay and the candidate was required to express his opinion on measures that can be taken to conserve wildlife. The following features and points should be considered as relevant:

 

Gabatarwa:

            bayanin dabbobin daji;
muhimmancin dabbobin daji;
barazanar da dabbobin daji suke fuskanta.

Gundarin jawabi:

kawo hanyoyin da za a bi domin magance matsalolin:

            kafa dokokin yin farautar su;
ɗaukar matakan kula da su;
killace su;
ba su kyakkyawan tsaro;
kula da lafiyarsu;
samar da dokar hana ƙona dazuzzuka;
hukunta masu karya dokokin daji;
ƙarfafa ayyukan ƙungiyoyin kare haƙƙin dabbobi;
taƙaita ƙaurar dabbobi;
ɗaukar matakan tabbatar da yaɗuwar su. 

Kammalawa:
yin taƙaitaccen bayani a kan abubuwan da aka                                             gabatar.

Many candidates  attempted the question and their performance was good.

 

(d)  This is an informal letter writing. Candidates were required to write a letter to his father explaining to him five reasons that prevented him from coming home for the holidays. The following features of informal letter writing and points should be reflected:

 

  1. Sigar wasiƙa:

 

            adireshin mai rubutu;
            kwanan wata;
                                                sallamar buɗewa;
                                                sallamar rufewa;
                                                sunan mai rubutu.

 

  1. Gundarin wasiƙa:

 

                        kawo dalilai kamar haka:
                                    rashin kuɗin mota;
                                    shirin jarabawar ƙarshe;
                                    yin darasi a cikin hutu;
                                    rashin lafiya;
                                    rashin tsaro;
                                    halartar wani taro;
                                    ziyartar wasu ’yan’uwa;
                                    ƙarancin kwanakin hutu;
yin ƙodago don samun kuɗin makaranta.

 

Candidates’ performance in this question was not encouraging.

 

(e)   The question is proverbial which says whoever refused to be warned, should have           himself to blame”. In attempting the question, the candidates were expected to state the meaning of the proverb, give examples of similar proverbs and narrate a story that will describe the proverb. The following points should be reflected and considered as relevant.

 

            Gabatarwa:

ma’anar karin magana:

ana nufin idan mutum ya ƙi jin magana ko gargaɗinda aka yi masa game da wata matsala to zai gamu da mummunan sakamakon da zai biyo baya.

 

Karin magana kwatankwacin wannan:

  1. Mai rabon shan duka, ba ya jin kwaɓo sai ya sha.
  2. Tsuntsun da ya ja ruwa, shi ruwa kan doka.
  3. Idan kunne ya ji, gangar jiki ta tsira.
  4. In an ƙi ji, ba a ƙi gani ba.

 

                        Gundarin jawabi:

                                    kawo labarin da zai dace da  ma’anar karin maganar.

                        Kammalawa:

                                    yin taƙaitaccen bayani.

 

Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was poor.
