  1. Farauta a garinmu

This is an expository essay which required candidates to write on how they are hunting in their place. In doing so, they were expected to observe the features of essay writing and highlight some points which should include the following:

                        Gabatarwa:

Ma’anar farauta:

Shi ne fita daji domin harbi ko kama namun daji ko tsuntsaye don ci ko sayarwa ko gwada jaruntaka ko yin magani.
                                    Masu yin farauta da shigarsu:

                                                Sunan gari;
                                                Ranar da ake zuwa farauta ko lokaci;
                                                Shiga ko kayan farauta.

Gundarin jawabi:

            Yadda ake yin farautar;
Abin da ake farautowa;
Abin da yake faruwa a daji;
Abin da yake biyo bayan zuwa farauta.

Kammalawa:

Yin taƙaitaccen bayani dangane da bayanan da aka riga aka yi.

Candidates’ performance in this question was encouraging.

The question is on narrative essay; it required the candidates to narrate on an assistance they have offered. In attempting the question, candidates were expected to capture the following features and points:

Shi ne gabatar da wani aiki wanda zai fitar da wani daga cikin wata matsalar rayuwa. Ɗabi’a ce wadda take faranta ran duk wanda aka yi wa.

Rana ko lokacin da aka yi taimakon;
Wanda aka taimaka wa;
Nau’in taimakon da aka yi.

            Maƙwabtaka;
’Yan’uwantaka;
            Haɗuwar hanya;

Many candidates attempted the question and performed well.

 

  1. Tsakanin radiyo da talabijin wanne ya fi amfani ga jama’a?


The question is on argumentative essay, it sought the opinion of the candidates on which is more useful to people between radio and television. The following features and points should be considered as relevant:

            Gabatarwa:

Bayanin radiyo da talabijin;
Fayyace ra’ayi:

            Radiyo ta fi amfani ga jama’a;
                                    Ko
            Talabijin ta fi amfani ga jama’a;

            Tana ƙawata gida.

                        Kammalawa (radiyo/talabijin):

                                    Yin taƙaitaccen bayani da jaddadawa bisa ra’ayin da aka ɗauka.

Many candidates attempted the question and their performance was good.

 

(d)     Rubuta wasiƙa zuwa ga abokinka kana bayyana masa yadda za a hana
         tarzomar ɗalibai a makaranta.

This is a formal letter writing. Candidates were required to write a letter to a friend explaining to him some measures that can be taken to shun riot in school. The following features of letter writing and points should be reflected:

i           Sigar wasiƙa:

            Adireshin mai rubutu;
                                                Kwanan wata;
                                                Sallamar buɗewa (zuwa ga);
                                                Sallamar rufewa (Daga/Ni ne/ Ni ce).

ii          Gundarin wasiƙa:

Kawo dalilin rubuta wasiƙa (Hanyar da za a bi):
Hukumar makaranta ta sa ido a kan abubuwan da ɗalibai suke aikatawa;
Hukunta ɗalibai masu laifi a lokacin da ya dace;
Kyautata dangantaka tsakanin malamai da ɗalibai;
Inganta ayyukan ƙungiyar iyayen yara da malamai;
Samar da wadatattun malamai kuma ƙwararru;
Samar da kayan more rayuwa;
Samar da wurare da kuma kayan wasanni;
Samar da abinci wadatacce kuma mai inganci;
Samar da ɗakunan kwana da makewayi masu kyau;
Samar da hanyoyin kula da lafiya masu inganci;
Inganta ɗakin karatu;
Inganta ayyukan sashen kula da matsalolin ɗalibai da bayar da shawara.

Candidates’ performance in this question was fair and some are not familiar with the features of letter writing in Hausa.

 

(e)  Ƙuda wajen kwaɗayi akan mutu.

The question is proverbial which says Fly in greed over death”. In attempting the question, the candidates were expected to state the meaning of the proverb, give examples of similar proverbs and narrate a story that will describe the proverb. The following points should be reflected and considered as relevant.                            
                        Gabatarwa:

                                    Ma’anar karin maganar:

Karin maganar nuni yake yi da cewa, yana da kyau a guje wa kwaɗayi domin kada a wahala, a koma ana da-na-sani.

                         Karin magana masu ma’ana kwatankwacin wannan:

Kwaɗayi mabuɗin wahala., idan da kwaɗayi akwai wulaƙanci.
Ba wahalalle sai mai kwaɗayi.
Garin neman gira a rasa ido.
Kowa ya shuka zamba ta fito a gonarsa.
Mugunta fitsarin faƙo.

 

                        Gundarin jawabi:

            Kawo labarin da zai dace da ma’anar karin maganar.

Kammalawa:

            Yin taƙaitaccen bayani a kan abin da aka tattauna a kai.

 

Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was fair.
