- Enables citizens to know their rights and duties.
- Equip citizens with skills and knowledge to effectively participate in governance.
- Enables citizens to develop positive attitudes and values that promote popular participation in society.
- Enables citizens to understand problems of emerging issues such as HIV/AIDS, drug abuse, cultism etc and ways of solving the problems.
- Enables citizens to know much about their duties and obligations to the state.
