Though the candidates’ strengths starts to narrow down, yet, there is still proper understanding of the techniques of writing letters especially formal letters and a good understanding of the rubrics in the question paper.

Many candidates performed averagely in grammar aspect while their attempt on (question 2) formation of words is encouraging.

Students should be encouraged to improve on their reading culture, so as to improve their Yoruba Language skill.

Qualified and dedicated Yoruba teachers should be employed to rescue this disheartening situation
