Candidates' Weakness and Suggested Remedies

Candidates’ weaknesses were observed in the following   areas:

• Writing of irrelevancies
• Spelling mistakes
• Misinterpretation of questions.
• Shallow knowledge of questions on Hadith and Qur’ān
• Poor English expression
• Short answers and inadequate points
• Poor handwriting

To overcome the above weaknesses, the Chief Examiners recommended the following:

• Thorough reading of questions before they are answered.
• Proper familiarisation with the spellings of simple words.
• Mastery of basic grammatical rules of English Language.
• Expression of points and answers in a comprehensive manner.
• Emphasis on legible handwriting.
• Concentration and focus on the Qur’ān and Hadith aspects of the Subject.
