This question was one of the most attempted questions by candidates. As simple as the question was, its technicality lied in the requirement to arrange the three categories in a specific order i.e. according to their degrees of reliability. Most of the candidates did not take note of the need to arrange in the required order - Sahih (sound), Hasan (good) and Da'if (weak). This was a major factor which militated against candidates’ excellent performance on the question, though correct explanatory points under each category were rewarded.
