Candidates’  weaknesses observed by Chief Examiners include the following:
                        
                          - Commission of grammatical errors.   
 
                          - Inability to fully discuss correct points to obtain  higher scores.
 
                          - Wrong interpretation of questions such as question 2 on  Jihad.
 
                          - Writing of irrelevancies.
 
                        
                        4.          SUGGESTED  REMEDIES
                          The above listed  weaknesses of candidates could be addressed, according to Chief   Examiners in the following ways:
                        -           Conscious teaching of  basic grammatical rules of English Language by  all teachers. 
                          -           Exposing candidates to the ideal  examination atmosphere through the study of 
              past question papers before the main  examination.
                          -           Avoidance of  irrelevancies and unnecessary emphasis or repetition of points by candidates.
