This is a case study question where the candidates were required to read, understand and apply their knowledge of the insurance principles in solving practicalreal-life problems posed in the case of Madam Scholastic’s Hair Salonas related in the following questions:
- Under what policy will the injured employees be compensated?
- State and explain two policies that the director should have taken to cover their liabilities to customers and third parties.
(c) What other insurance policies would the company take in future to cover the cashiers that handle cash?
(d) Explain two other insurance products that will be useful to the company.
Observation
Most of the candidates attempted the question. However, a few were able to identify the policies involvedwhile majority of them exhibited poor understandingand expression of points.
