Observation

Candidates were required to list what the poet used to describe a character, Eze naịra in the poem “Di Anyị Ị Bụrụla Eze?”  and also describe how things were in the olden days as seen in “Ego Na-ekwu” from the book Ụtara Ntị.
The candidates rather than use their own words in answering the question, quoted the book verbatim.
Answers expected were as follows:

a (i)  Eze ụra atụ.      

(ii) Eze nkworo.

(iii) Eze, e gbuo ebi naabọ, e zoo otu./ Eze aghụghọ.

(iv)Eze, okwu sie ike, ndị uwe ojii erie ego/ Eze na-enye ngarị.

(v)Eze, okwu sie ike, dibịa erie ego/ Eze na-agwọ ọgwụ.

(vi)Eze e ji ego zụta.

a  (i) N’oge gboo, ọ bụ amamihe ndị okenye ka e ji eme ihe.

(ii) A na-enye diọkpa isi oche n'ọgbakọ.

(iii)A na-ege ndị isi awọ/okenye ntị ma ha pụta inye ndụmọdụ.

(iv)A na-achọje ọka okwu n'ụlọ ka ọ pụta maka idu obodo ya.

(v) Onye na-achị mba na-abụ onye dị ike.
(vi) Onye ji ọfọ na-enwe nsọpụrụ ma bụrụ onye isi ala.
