The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years.  The 
                questions were straight forward and covered a wide range of the syllabus.  The
                marking scheme was flexible and comprehensive.

The performance of the candidates was better than in the previous year with a candidates population of 3,545 which had a raw mean score of 25 and standard deviation of 10.05 against a raw mean score of 24 and standard deviation of 09.80 for the November/December 2012 WASSCE which had a candidates population 3,795.
