General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were technical and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive, flexible and the rubrics were clear.

The performance of the candidates was worse than the previous year with a population of 40,338 and a raw mean score of 23.0 and standard deviation of 08.72 against the WASSCE for School Candidates 2022 which had candidates’ population of 45,435 with a raw mean score of 28.0 and standard deviation of 09.95.
