Observation

Candidates were asked to write an article suitable for publication in a national newspaper on the need for peaceful coexistence. Few candidates attempted this question. Some of the candidates that attempted the question got the formal features of an article correctly. They wrote the heading and the name of the writer. However, some of them did not demonstrate an understanding of “peaceful coexistence” and those who showed some understanding could not successfully convey their ideas as a result of poor expression.
