Majority of the candidates preformed excellently and the question was widely attempt by the candidates, but the ‘c' part was poorly attempted by the candidates, therefore, they loose marks. However, they were unable to state some points on product used for treatment such as Hair cream, Coconut oil, Deep condition, Hair fertilizer, Hair booster, Aloe Vera etc.
Candidates were able to give answers such as:
(a) TYPE OF TREAMENT ILLUSTRATED IN THE DIAGRAMS.
- Normal hair and scalp treatment
(b) ACTION ILLUSTRATED IN THE DIAGRAM.
- Heat application with infra-red lamp
(c) BENEFITS OF TREATMENT ILLUSTRATED ABOVE ON THE CLIENT.
- It keep the hair and scalp clean
- It prevent baldness/ It slows some types of hairless
- It keeps the hair healthy
(d) PROCEDURES FOR THE TREATMENT IN THE DIAGRAM ABOVE.
- Drape client

- Apply infra-red lamp for about 5 minutes
- Give scalp manipulation for 10 – 20 minutes
- Shampoo the hair
- Towel dry and remove excess moisture
