Question 3 / Observation

Question 3a(i) which was on classfication of items according to the tools, equipment and supplies was the candidates 

strength as those who  attempted this question scored high marks. The part (a)(ii)  of  the question was on the uses

of the items listed and it  was answered correctly by the candidates only few of the candidates could not write the

uses of hair relaxer e.g for relaxing and retouching of hair instead of straightening, softening and lengthening of hair.

The   
(b)  part was on implements needed for facial treatment, majority of the candidates that attempted the question answered

it correctly.
The part (c) was on process involved in facial treatment, the candidates answered it correctly even though they

could not state them sequentially.
