Question 2 / Observation

   In question 2a, candidates  were able to give correct implements and supplies used for hair cutting.

It was a very popular question in which majority of  the candidates performed very well which was on advantages

of hair colouring to (i)women, (ii)artist.

Majority of Question (b)
the candidates answered it correctly while some wrote to impress men, show you are rich instead of youthful look,

attraction etc. However the (c) part seemed difficult for the candidates as they did not know the meaning of 

(i) colour rinse (ii) crayon and so  were unable to answered the question e.g the candidates wrote colour rinse;

to rinse away colour instead of prepared rinse for highlighting and adding of colour, usually temporary from

one shampoo to another and to colour or drawings instead  colour/tint in stick for retouching newly grown hair.

The (d)(i) part of question was on the list of implements/materials required for shampooing and explain the use

of the implements/materials. It was one of the strengths of the candidates as it was highly

attempted and well answered.
