(a)        (i) Define the  term neutral points as used in magnetism.
(ii)        Draw a diagram showing the pattern of a magnetic field around a bar magnet.

(b)        A particle of charge 3.2 x 10-19 C enters a uniform magnetic field with a speed of 
5.0 x 107 m s-1. If the magnetic field strength is 8 T, Calculate the maximum force that can be experienced by the particle.

(c)  (i)         State the condition necessary for resonance in an R-L-C series circuit.

          (ii)        State one application of resonance in R-L-C  circuits

(i)         value of R;
(ii)        current through R.
