(c)(i)    List five procedures in the construction of an earthen fish pond.                                  

(ii)  Mention two tools used in the construction of earthen fish pond.                 [7 marks]

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was fair.
In 2(a) (ii) many candidates gave answers without the conjunction ‘and’ thereby getting it wrong. In 2(b)(ii) the candidates were stating the local names of the materials and not what is in the textbook. In 2c(i), many candidates did not give the sequential procedures in construction of an earthen fish pond.

 

The expected answers include:

                   It is the culture of fish in combination with other forms of agriculture e.g. fish
and livestock production, fish and crop production, fish and poultry production

            (ii)        Examples of integrated fish farming

  • Fish and Rabbit/Grass cutter                               

Note: There must be conjunction of ‘and’ or ‘cum’ to score
