(b) State the function of each of the following in a stair construction:
(i) handrail;
(ii) landing.
(c) Sketch in section, each of the following types of wall:
(i) partition wall;
(ii) buttressing wall.
Observation
Most candidates were able to answered question 4 correctly except the aspect of question 4 (c) which were not well answered as most of the candidates were not able to sketch partition and buttressing wall correctly.
