A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

            Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in the following areas:

1. sketch of a bolster;
2. mechanical drawing;
3. use of conventional symbols;
4. proper application of principles;
5. effective use of drawing instrument;
6. differentiating between freehand sketch and drawing with instrument.

SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THESE WEAKNESSES

Candidates are hereby advised to prepare adequately for the examination and improve on the identified weak areas.

Standard studio should be provided in schools and teachers should be trained frequently.
