Candidate's Weakness and Remedies
A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES
Candidates were reported to have shown weakness in the following areas:
- the plan of a given truncated solid;
- end view of a given truncated solid;
- true shape of the cut surface of a given truncated solid;
- neatness and linework.
SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THESE WEAKNESSES
Candidates were urged to study every item contained in their subject’s study outlines. They were also advised to practice regularly and concentrate more on the identified weak areas. School owners were urged to equip their schools with viable studio for students’ practice. Teachers were advised not to skip any part of the syllabus in grooming the students for examination.
