Candidate's Weakness and Remedies
A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES
Candidates were reported to have shown weakness in the following areas:
- the locus of a specified point on revolution;
- orthographic projection of truncated solid;
- sketching of circle escribed to given triangle;
- neatness and linework;
- ability to read and understand the requirements of the questions.
SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THESE WEAKNESSES
Candidates were urged to study every item contained in their subjects study outlines. They were also advised to practice regularly and concentrate more on the identified weak areas. Schools were urged to be equipped with viable studio for students’ practice. Teachers were advised not to skip any part of the syllabus in grooming the students for examination.
