The following materials have been provided for this exercise:
- 25 mm PVC pipe, 1.2 m long - 1 no;
- 25 mm PVC elbow; - 1 no;
- tin of adhesive - 1 no.
Using a push-fit pipe jointing technique and heating, cut and fix the length of 25 mm PVC pipe as shown in Fig. 3.
Observation
Very few of the candidates attempted this question. Most of those who attempted had inaccurate bends. Students should be exposed to more practical classes before their final examination.
