Weakness and Remedies

Candidates’ weaknesses were seen in their inability to:

-           explain common Plumbing terms correctly;
-           sketch Plumbing fittings and hand tools correctly;
-           explain business organisation terms;
-           sketch a cesspool correctly;
-           differentiate between a cesspool and a septic tank.
SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

It was recommended that required text books should be made available/accessible to students and qualified technical teachers should handle the subjects. It was also recommended that practical classes should be given priority in order to enhance learning outcomes in the subject.
