Weakness and Remedies

The following were observed as the candidates’ weaknesses.

• inability to read measurement from instrument like metre rule, ammeter, voltmeter etc to the required accuracy of each instruments;
• inconsistency in decimal places;
• poor determination of slopes;
• inability to plot graph correctly;
• inability to tabulate their data correctly

The following remedies were proffered:

• Teachers should expose candidates to more Physics practical sessions;
• Candidates should be taught on how to answer examination questions;
• Qualified and dedicated Physics teachers should be employed;
• Teachers should be sponsored to attend coordination meetings to learn the rudiments for attempting practical questions.
