A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES WEAKNESSES

Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:

• explain technical terms clearly;
• state functions of parts of a lathe set-up;
• explain final solution in design process. 

SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING WEAKNESSES

In order to overcome these weaknesses, it was suggested that candidates should ensure they study every topic in the syllabuses before taking the Metalwork WASSCE examination.
