Discuss two dramatic techniques in the play

Observation

Dramatic techniques abound in the play. Mimicry is used as a vehicle of comedy in the narrative of Styles and Buntu. Styles mimicry actions tend to be humorous and satirical, while ridiculing the whole people.
Symbolism is extensively used in the photographic studio, a place for blacks realization of dreams and hopes, the camera helps to revive their dreams as in the record of a whole family with their grandfather. The passbook enacts the dehumanization of blacks. Other techniques include dramatic monologue and flashback.
Many candidates attempted this question; some mentioned the dramatic techniques but could not relate it to the text.
