This was a popular question. The performance of the candidates who answered it was poor. They didn’t understand the question well and relied on information from the internet and confused OAU and AU as two difference organisations.

The candidates were expected to provide the following answers to the question.

• Lack of cooperation among member states.
• Depemndencie of some member states on their colonial masters.
• Political instability in many member states.
• Language barrier.
• Lack of standing armuy
• Lack of common currency
• Problem of refugees
