The standard of the paper was of good quality and comparable with those of previous
       years.  The questions covered the scope of the syllabus. While the marking scheme was
      adequate and exhaustive .

      The performance of the candidates was better than that of the previous year given the raw
       mean score of 31 and standard deviation of 12.08 for the candidates population of 2692 as
       against the raw mean score of 20 and standard deviation 10.30 for the candidates population
      of 3121 for November/December 2008 WASSCE.
