Observation
The question above was taken from the book Labarun Gargajiya 1(Oral Prose) and the candidates were expected to mention the names of the birds that were called to deliver the report of death to the girl in (a), to mention the bird that delivered the report among them in (b) and to mention the number of times he attempted to deliver the report in (c). The response should be as follows:

› hankaka;
› kurciya;
› shirwa;
› gauraka.
- Gauraka ne ya isar da saqon.
- Sau biyar ya tafi kafin ta amince za ta zo.
The performance of candidates on this question was not encouraging, it was evident that majority of them were not familiar with the content of the literature text.
