General Comments

 

 

The standard of the paper was higher than the previous ones. The questions tested higher levels of thinking. The questions were within the scope of the examination syllabus and cut across cognitive and psychomotor learning domains. It was reported that the rubrics were clear and unambiguous.

The raw mean score of 24.0 and standard deviation of 8.60 showed that the performance of the candidates was better than WASSCE for School Candidates 2017, with a raw mean score of 23.0 and standard deviation of 8.60. A total of 64,642 candidates sat the paper
