(b) (i) A farmer cultivated Tilapia and Clarias sp in a pond at the same time.
What type of aquaculture was practiced?
(ii) Mention four materials that could be used to package smoked fish for marketing.

(c)List five causes of pollution in water bodies. [5 marks]

Observation

 

This was a popular question among the candidates, as majority of them attempted it. However, their performance was fair.
In part (a), majority of the candidates misunderstood it for gear, instead of methods. Also, majority of the candidates could not distinguish between fish food and fish feed.

In part (b), majority of the candidates were able to mention the type of aquaculture being practiced.

In part (c), majority of the candidates were able to list five causes of water pollution in water bodies.
