(a) Gbẹn eleta gie ọtẹn ruẹ ne ọ rre Eko ne u ya kha maa ọnrẹn aro iwinna ne u hoo ne u ruẹ vbe u gha  yo owebe ne ọ yo ladian ne, u ke la owebe noyosẹ kevbe emwi ne ọsiẹre ne u na zẹ iwinna ni.

(b) Ọkere ne arriọba Enaigirria gha hae emwa ne  i mwẹ iwinna igho uki-uki ra ọ ma ke.

(d) Iye mwẹ
(e) Iyobo ne evbibiemọ ye ne emọ vbe ekpae esuku.

(ẹ) Gbẹn okha nẹ ọ ya erre na “Ọkpọnmwẹse ọre ọ we ne a ru irẹn ọvbehe” sẹ ufomwẹ

Observation

(a) The candidate was required to write a letter to a sibling in Lagos giving reasons why he/she wants to acquire an apprenticeship skill at the completion of his/her secondary school education before proceeding to tertiary institution.

Few candidates attempted this question and their performance was poor as they did not understand the demands of the question. Some approached it as a formal letter, thus leading to unsatisfactory performance in this question.

 

(b)  Is it right or wrong for the Nigerian government to place unemployed people on monthly salary?

 This is an argumentative essay and it was popular asa good number of candidates
answered it. Their performance was commendable though majority argued in favour of the motion, they gave the merits and demerits of both before taking sides.

 

(c) My first day in the hospital

Despite the clarity of the question, it was attempted by few candidates. Some candidates
failed to write the title, necessary introduction and appropriate conclusion. Others merely focused on the ailment that caused them to visit the hospital.

 

(d) My Mother

Candidates were required to write a descriptive essay on their mother. Majority of the candidates who answered this question demonstrated a complete understanding of the task and scored good marks

 

(ẹ)Candidates were expected to write a narrative essay on the topic:

   Write astory that ends with the saying “A grateful heart rekindles another favour.

Few candidates attempted this question and they performed credibly well as they were able to write creatively to tell stories which ended in the saying
