The candidates were required to:
1.(a) Explain the following terms as used in clothing and textiles
i. applique;
ii. patchwork;
iii. patching;
(b) Give examples of the following:
i. four items required for making patchwork;
ii. three articles made from patchwork;
iii. two articles on which applique may be applied.
OBSERVATION
In question1, candidates were asked to explain Applique, patchwork and patching in clothing and textiles, and it was answered correctly by few of the candidates. They were also asked to give examples of items required for making patchwork and articles made from patchwork which answered correctly by almost all the candidates that attempted the question.
