This question attracted lots of candidates and the performance of most candidates who answered it was good as they understood what was required of the question. The defect to most of candidates who missed out in scoring the maximum marks obtainable is mostly attributed to lack of proper interpretation of the question. To those candidates who deviated, expected answers include

(a)        Forms of Medically Abused Prescribed Drugs

1. Wrong dosage/administration
2. Wrong timing of usage
3. User prescribing the same drug to a third party suffering from the same ailment
4. Wrong combination of drugs
5. Continuous usage of drugs despite its adverse effect on the patient
6. Taking prescribed drugs with alcohol/coldwater

(b)  Consequences of Violation of Prescribed Drugs by Certified Medical Personnel

1. Untimely death
2. Complicated health issues e.g. sterility/impotency, insanity, blindness, hearing impairment, etc.
3. Increase in the spread of HIV/AIDS/STDS
4. Homelessness/vagabond
5. Social stigmatization of victims/isolation
6. Domestic violence e.g. wife/husband battering
7. Loss of job or other financial issues
8. Bad image
