Observation

(a) The question was on the use of thinner in finishing a joinery article. Some student do not answer this question correctly, as if they do not know what the thinner is. The expected response to question 5 (a) is as given below:

• Diluting or lightening the thickness of finishes (To reduce the viscosity of finishes).
• Cleaning of the spray gun, brushes, and other equipment used in the application of finishes.
• Cleaning of hands.

(b) They were require to state factors that will cause a sole proprietorship enterprise to fail. The response was very encouraging.
